Consultations & Examinations
Your Cardiovascular Health, Our Top Priority
As a cardiologist, my commitment is to offer you a precise diagnosis, personalised prevention and comprehensive care for all heart and vascular conditions.
I bring my expertise and the latest technologies to preserve your cardiac health throughout your life.
Discover below the main services I offer at the clinic and in collaboration with healthcare facilities.
Cardiology Consultation & Personalised Assessment
This is the cornerstone of our doctor-patient relationship. During this comprehensive consultation, I take the time to review your medical history, risk factors (hypertension, cholesterol, diabetes, smoking, sedentary lifestyle…) and your symptoms (chest pain, shortness of breath, palpitations). This initial assessment establishes a first evaluation and defines a personalised care strategy tailored to you.
Echocardiography-Doppler (Cardiac Ultrasound)
This painless, non-invasive examination is a heart ultrasound. Using sound waves, it allows me to visualise in real time the structure of your heart (valves, walls, chambers) and its function (contraction strength, blood flow). Echocardiography-Doppler is essential for diagnosing or monitoring conditions such as heart failure, valvular disease or congenital heart disease.
Electrocardiogram (ECG) in Témara
A quick and completely painless test, the ECG performed at the clinic in Témara records the electrical activity of your heart. By placing small electrodes on your chest and limbs, we obtain a tracing that reveals your heart rhythm and can detect abnormalities such as a past myocardial infarction, arrhythmias or signs of ischaemia (oxygen deprivation).
Stress Test (Exercise Test)
The stress test involves recording an ECG while you perform physical exercise, typically on a treadmill. It evaluates your heart’s performance and your cardiovascular system’s response to exertion. This examination is essential for investigating chest pain during exercise, assessing physical capacity after a heart attack, or adjusting your treatment.
Holter Blood Pressure Monitor (ABPM) & Holter ECG
- Ambulatory Blood Pressure Monitoring (ABPM): A small device records your blood pressure over 24 hours in your everyday environment. This enables a more accurate diagnosis of hypertension and appropriate adjustment of treatment.
- Holter ECG: A portable recorder monitors the electrical activity of your heart for 24 to 48 hours. It is essential for capturing intermittent rhythm disorders (palpitations, fainting spells) that would not be visible on a standard ECG.
Follow-up & Cardiovascular Risk Prevention
Beyond treating established conditions, my role is to support you in prevention. I offer regular follow-up and a personalised programme to address modifiable risk factors: optimising treatment for hypertension or cholesterol, nutritional advice, support for smoking cessation and recommendations for adapted physical activity.

Your Questions, Our Answers
We know that a cardiology consultation can raise many questions. To help you prepare, here are answers to the most frequently asked questions. If you cannot find what you are looking for, please do not hesitate to contact us directly.
Where is the cardiology clinic in Témara?
The clinic is located at Complexe Médical Témara, Office No. 5, 1st floor, Building 2, Kroch Roundabout, corner of Boulevard Hassan I / Avenue Tarik Ibn Ziad, Témara 12000. It is easily accessible by car and public transport from Rabat, Tamesna, Skhirat, Ain Aouda and neighbouring towns.
Do you serve patients from Rabat, Salé and the surrounding region?
Yes, our cardiology clinic in Témara welcomes patients from across the region: Témara, Rabat, Salé, Skhirat, Harhoura, Ain Attig and surrounding towns. If you are looking for a cardiologist in the Rabat-Salé-Kénitra region, our clinic is easily accessible and offers prompt appointments.
Where can I get an ECG in Témara?
The ECG (Electrocardiogram) is performed directly at the cardiology clinic in Témara, at Complexe Médical Témara. It is a quick, painless test requiring no special preparation. Results are explained immediately after the examination. No trip to Rabat or elsewhere is necessary.
Do I need a referral from my GP to book an appointment?
It is strongly recommended to first consult your GP. They can provide a referral letter that will help me better understand the reason for your consultation and your medical history. However, for a specialist opinion or a preventive assessment, you can book an appointment directly.
What should I bring to my first consultation?
To make your consultation as effective as possible, please bring:
- Your health insurance card (CNSS, CNOPS or private).
- Your GP’s referral letter (if you have one).
- All cardiac medical documents: blood test results, previous ECGs, echocardiograms, hospital reports, etc.
- A complete list of your current medications (or the packaging).
- Your reading glasses if you wear them.
Is the consultation covered by health insurance?
Yes, consultations and cardiology procedures at the clinic are covered by Moroccan mandatory health insurance (CNSS, CNOPS/AMO) according to the applicable rates. Your complementary insurance may cover the co-payment. Please check with your insurer for details.
Should I stop my medication before a Holter blood pressure monitor (ABPM)?
No, definitely not. The purpose of the Holter blood pressure monitor is precisely to measure your blood pressure under your usual living conditions, with your treatment. Take your medications as normal, unless you have received explicit contrary instructions.
Are echocardiography or ECG painful examinations?
No, both examinations are completely painless and non-invasive.
- For echocardiography, an ultrasound probe is simply applied to your chest after applying a slightly cold gel.
- For the ECG, small adhesive electrodes are placed on your skin. You will feel no particular sensation.
When and how will I receive my results?
My practice philosophy is to give you your results and explain them immediately after each examination performed at the clinic (ECG, echocardiography). For examinations requiring more complex analysis (such as Holter monitoring), results will be provided and discussed at a dedicated follow-up consultation or your next appointment. A detailed report is systematically sent to your GP.
How often should I see a cardiologist for follow-up?
The frequency depends on your health condition. For a simple preventive check-up with well-controlled risk factors, a consultation every 2 to 3 years may be sufficient. However, if you are being monitored for a specific heart condition (heart failure, valvular disease…), follow-up may be annual, biannual or more frequent. We will determine together, with your GP, the most appropriate monitoring schedule for your situation.
Can I consult you for a second opinion or advice about a treatment?
Absolutely. Providing a specialist opinion — whether to confirm a diagnosis, discuss a therapeutic option or offer a fresh perspective on your situation — is fully part of my role. Please feel free to mention this when booking your appointment.
We are here for you.
